The Artisanal Delivery Process

At Cape Meatlocker, we believe the journey from our locker to your table is as critical as the heritage genetics of our livestock. We have engineered a premium logistics protocol designed to maintain the integrity of our artisanal cuts through every mile of transit.

Fulfillment Schedule

To ensure your order never sits in a carrier warehouse over a weekend, we strictly ship on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays. Orders placed after 12:00 PM PST on Wednesday will be queued for the following Monday to guarantee the shortest possible transit time.

Packaging Technology

We utilize industrial-grade thermal liners and high-density dry ice or food-safe gel packs depending on your region and the prevailing climate. Our packaging is designed to maintain sub-zero temperatures for up to 72 hours. While the exterior of your box may feel room-temperature, the internal thermal barrier is engineered to protect your proteins.

Carrier Network

We partner exclusively with expedited courier services (FedEx and UPS) to provide 24-48 hour delivery windows across the continental United States. You will receive a real-time tracking number via email as soon as your box leaves our artisanal facility.

Receiving Your Order

It is not necessary for you to be home to sign for your delivery. Our carriers are instructed to leave the package at your door. However, we strongly recommend retrieving your proteins and placing them in a freezer as soon as possible after delivery. If your meat arrives slightly thawed but still refrigerator-cold (below 40°F), it is safe to refreeze or consume immediately according to USDA standards.
