The Artisanal Guarantee

We take immense pride in the quality of our pasture-raised proteins. If your Cape Meatlocker experience does not meet our rigorous artisanal standards, we are committed to making it right. Our Refund Policy is built on mutual respect and a dedication to quality.

Damaged or Thawed Goods

If your order arrives damaged or significantly thawed (above 40°F internal temperature), please contact our support herd immediately at support@capemeatlocker.com. To process your claim, we require:

  • A detailed description of the issue;
  • High-resolution photographs of the damaged packaging and product;
  • Photos of the internal temperature reading if possible.

Incomplete Orders

In the rare event that your box is missing a specific cut included in your plan, we will issue a credit to your account for the value of that item or include a premium replacement in your next scheduled delivery.

Refund Methods

Depending on the nature of the claim, Cape Meatlocker may issue a localized refund back to your original payment method, or provide a store credit for use on a future artisanal journey. Please allow 5-10 business days for refunds to reflect on your statement.

Non-refundable Scenarios

Due to the perishable nature of our products, we cannot issue refunds for:

  • Orders delivered to an incorrect address provided by the member;
  • Orders left outside for an extended period after delivery;
  • Subjective preferences regarding the flavor profile of specific heritage breeds.
